Late night snacking
Task: Don’t eliminate your late night snacks, slowly start to change them to better options.
If you find you are snacking in the evening, then start to add in a fruit or vegetable with that snack. If you are snacking on chips or cookies, then eventually replace these with better options such as veggie chips or rice crackers. Then limit your snacking over time to a few nights a week instead of every night.
Drink a glass of water before you have a snack. Eat your fruit or veggies first then finish the remainder of what you are snacking on. The goal is to eat less of the chips or cookies etc.
Finally try to replace the empty calorie chips with peanut butter, hummus or another source of protein and fat.
